The new Vacuum Vortex Evaporator
The patented ELVAvortex brings vacuum evaporation technology into new application areas thanks to the new Vacuum Vortex technology. The extremely compact design allows a lot of power in a small space and makes vacuum evaporation accessible to smaller users.
The ELVAvortex has the following applications in beverage technology:
Concentration of wine must to increase the alcohol content.
Alcohol reduction of wine after fermentation
Dealcoholization of wine, cider, etc.
Distillation of liquid distilling mash
Separation of very volatile aromatic substances
The new technology
for alcohol reduction and dealcoholization
The new process is particularly suitable for the alcohol reduction of wine. Thanks to the gentle vacuum technology, the wine is not heated above 35°C (95°F) during the process despite alcohol distillation. Thus a gentle treatment is achieved. In addition to the high power density and thus small size compared to conventional vacuum processes, the ELVAvortex is characterized by other unique selling points. For example, turbid, unfiltered musts can be treated directly without affecting the process. This makes it possible to use vacuum technology directly at various stages of winemaking.

ELVAvortex
The compact design allows the ELVAvortex to be used even in smaller wineries. Thus, volumes from 200l can be treated directly.

ELVA miniVortex
The little brother for laboratories, small users, bars and gastronomy
The small ELVAvortex is the ideal device for all those who like to experiment. It can be used to distill small quantities, dealcoholize wine bottles, extract aromas, and much more. Thanks to the optional rectification column, optimum distillate quality is achieved. An additional aroma recovery stage can be added for very volatile aroma components.
